Life of Fishing Villages Experience

The Fishing Village Folk Museum is located at the entrance to Tando in Daebudo. It shows the scenery of the west coast tidelands and the fishing village. There are two large aquariums at the entrance, one with tropical fish and one with fish in the west coast. The 1st and 2nd floors show tideland ecology, geography and other materials concerning the tidelands. You will also enjoy the life of salt farms and the fishing villages. The 2nd floor exhibit room has media of the Ansan tideland’s underwater geography. It will be interesting to see how the fishing populations live and what they do for pastimes through the wax structures. It’s a half-day course away from downtown Ansan.
