The Symbol of Ansan’s Culture ‘Ansan Culture and Arts Center’

The Ansan Culture and Arts Center opened in October 2004 after 4 years of construction with a construction cost of 100 billion won. The ‘Haedoji Theater’ has a stage where 300 people can ascend, descend, rotate or move horizontally at once. The theater accommodates an audience of 1,592. The ‘Dalmaji Theater’ has 714 seats and is available for plays, choirs, chamber music, recitals and concerts. The ‘Byeolmuri Theater’ is a little theater where the actors and 200 spectators can become one. The center also has an international conference room, exhibit building and outdoor performance area. The center has an academy that offers theory and practice in cultural experiences. The exhibit building offers paintings, writings, sculptures and photos for appreciation.
