Ansan, Kyung Hee Cyber University Sign Agreement to Promote Multicultural Education

Ansan Multicultural Support Headquarters and Kyung Hee Cyber University have signed an agreement to promote education for multicultural families and expats in Ansan.

The agreement is designed to provide educational opportunities to multicultural families and expats (including spouses and children) in Ansan through benefits such as exemption from entrance fees for undergraduate courses, halving undergraduate tuition and reduction of graduate tuition 20 percent.

Under this agreement, those from multicultural families and expats in Ansan enrolling in the first semester of next year will be eligible for reduced tuition. Among such students, those who acquire Korean nationality can apply for national scholarships. These benefits will allow them to attend university with no or little financial burden.

Kyung Hee Cyber University was Korea’s first cyber university, being established in 2001 to promote multicultural education. The school has 26 departments and six graduate schools.
